At Get To The Pointe Ballet Academy, we’re not just teaching dance steps—we’re developing confident, creative, and disciplined young artists through exceptional dance education and strong classical training.

As a classical ballet-focused academy, our program goes beyond the traditional recreational dance experience. Every class is intentionally designed with progressive lesson plans and age-appropriate curriculum that nurture both artistic and personal growth.

Our ballet curriculum is a thoughtfully designed fusion of several world-renowned teaching methods, creating a balanced approach that develops strong, versatile, and well-rounded dancers. Our training incorporates principles from the Vaganova, Balanchine, and Cecchetti methods and is further enhanced through Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT), Pilates-based conditioning, and Horton principles within our contemporary program.

Our jazz and tap curriculum is equally intentional and progressive. Students develop rhythm, musicality, coordination, performance quality, and stylistic versatility through carefully structured instruction and age-appropriate lesson plans. Our faculty participates in ongoing professional development, including annual teacher seminars and industry training opportunities, ensuring our students receive engaging, current, and well-rounded dance education.

One of the things that sets GTTP apart is our commitment to consistency and excellence. All instructors are personally trained and mentored by  Artistic Director Sarah Ranson to ensure that every student receives high-quality instruction rooted in strong classical ballet technique and our carefully designed curriculum.

From our youngest dancers learning through imaginative play and creative movement to our advanced students pursuing summer intensives, collegiate dance programs, and professional opportunities, every class is intentionally designed to help students grow both technically and personally.

GTTP dancers have gone on to participate in prestigious training opportunities, including programs at the Boston Ballet School and The Rock School for Dance Education. Our alumni have continued their dance education as dance majors at universities such as the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the Oklahoma City University Dance & Entertainment program, while others have pursued professional careers in the performing arts.
